Course Overview
Events require a significant investment in resources, and as a result, must be anchored in strategy, with measurable results. Event design considers all aspects of a participant's experience while strategic event design creates environments that support learning and connection; two critical outcomes of purposeful events. This course provides students with a toolkit that includes knowledge of space design, flow of time through an event and all the supporting elements from food to technology to wellbeing that create accessible and inclusive events. Upon completion of this course, students will bring strategic thinking and intentional event design practices in their future roles, gaining a competitive advantage in the events industry.
