Course Overview
The course builds on fundamental marketing skills and provides a blueprint for starting an online business. Students will learn to apply best practices when developing their own e-commerce enterprise. Key topics include opportunity analysis, researching competition, logo development, name selection, domain registration, shipping strategies, online presence, and profitable objective development.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Identify and define product/service opportunities for e-commerce.
- Determine and illustrate the ideal positioning strategy for an online business.
- Research and develop a marketing strategy that is both affordable and effective.
- Select, layout, and create the structure for an online website.
- Construct a functioning website capable of providing a product or service by processing orders.
- Select and test software to determine ideal tool for performing online business functions.
- Organize and integrate social accounts into an existing website.
