Course Overview
Teaches the fundamentals of radio documentary making. Topics include documentary styles, elements of a documentary, topic selection, markets and equipment. Students will also learn how to pitch and sell their ideas. The instructor, Karen Tankard, is an award-winning radio documentary maker in Vancouver.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Better understand how radio documentaries are made, what tools are needed to produce radio documentaries and how to pitch to freelance radio markets.
