Course Overview
This course will teach recreational boaters the basics of how to maintain, service and diagnose minor problems. You will learn about diesel engines, engine support systems, power transmission and shafting. All subjects will cover winterization of engine systems.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Have a better understanding of how a diesel engine works.
- Service and diagnose engines and transmission lubrication systems.
- Service and diagnose engine fuel systems.
- Service and diagnose engine support systems.
- Service and diagnose shafting, shaft sealing and propellers.
- Winterize boat in all covered topics.
