Course Overview
Through presentations from seasoned construction professionals, participants will gain knowledge of strategies and construction techniques that have been used on a variety of construction projects. Experts representing project managers, engineers, consultants and contractors will present both technical and managerial challenges and solutions. Emphasis will be placed on the continued development of listening and written communication skills.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Describe a wide array of construction projects and issues as presented by practising construction professionals.
- Review the creative resolution of construction and management problems.
- Summarize the oral presentations in written form.
- Understand the role of specialists and related sub-contractors.
- Describe the relationships between the parties to a construction project.
