Course Overview
This course is conducted by the BCIT School of Transportation as a component of the Aviation Gas Turbine Technician program, accredited by the Canadian Council of Aviation and Aerospace. Students will inspect compressor blades to OEM manuals. Students will perform blending repairs as required in order to return blades to a serviceable condition.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Use technical information to determine procedures when inspecting compressor blades
- Perform minor compressor blade blending repairs in accordance with manufacturer's manuals
