This course will introduce the students to composite materials and explore their use in aviation structures. Composite repairs and inspection will be completed.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Describe materials, process, and handling procedures for composite materials and structure
- Explain reinforcement fibers, matrix materials, core materials, and composite safety
- Explain manufacturing techniques, methods of curing of pre-preg, temperature and pressure applications
- Explain inspection, damage assessment, and repair procedures
- Perform composite inspections and repairs.
