This course introduces you to the basic attitudes and skills for effective communication in an automotive shop or business. Oral and written skills emphasize effective, on-the-job communication among employees, between employees and management, and between employees and customers.

Learning Outcomes
At the end of this course the student will be able to:
- Describe the principles of effective practical writing.
- Describe the process of planning and organizing memos and letters.
- Apply the principles of effective practical writing to sentences and paragraphs.
- Write effective request memos and letters.
- Prepare a job package.
- Plan and deliver an effective on-the-job oral presentation designed to inform.
