Course Overview
The emphasis of the course will be on creating distinctive design concepts and on doing functional, imaginative planning. Detailed space plans for various commercial spaces will be examined. Students will develop office plans that will incorporate their new knowledge of systems design, furniture for offices and other functional issues.

- 65% or better in INTD 2500 and all bridging courses.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Create design solutions which incorporate research.
- Produce design solutions that consider acoustic factors.
- Present design solutions to a group to improve oral presentation skills.
- Produce drawings that incorporate strong design concepts that meet design requirements.
- Develop a standard package of furniture recommendations for a client.
- Produce detailed drawings using Autocad.
- Create block plans for preliminary office planning.
- Create interior spaces that consider anthropometrics (ex. children, aging etc.).
- Create functional, aesthetic solutions for lighting a space.
