Course Overview
Provides the student with an opportunity to integrate and synthesize knowledge gained throughout their program to satisfy specific objectives and requirements. This two term course may take one of the following forms: 1) Group or individual design project: where groups contribute to the solution of a design project, and individuals specialize in various aspects of the design.2) Individual research project: original research or experimentation. Group or Individual project: involving design and analysis of an engineering system, typically posed by a company or organization.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Develop project deliverables under the guidance of a project advisor. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9]
- Conduct a formal design review including a presentation and a peer evaluation. [6, 8, 9, 10]
- Work in an engineering team environment. [6, 10]
- Write and present technical reports based on accepted writing standards. [7, 12]
- Manage project progress within scope, budget, and schedule constraints. [6, 11]
- Where appropriate, perform Economic, Environmental, and Sustainability Analyses on project deliverables for inclusion in final report [4,9,11]
