A practical study of Canadian business law. Topics include: the Canadian legal system, dispute resolution, torts including product liability, contracts, sale of goods, agency, employment, business structures, personal and intellectual property, E-commerce and international trade.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Evaluate Artificial Intelligence use and risk in legal practice
- Recognize legal issues as they arise.
- Apply basic rules of law to business situations.
- Communicate effectively with lawyers and regulators.
- Design business practices and transactions to help avoid legal problems.
- Have a general understanding of the law as it applies in business situations.
