Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Apply human resource knowledge and skills to a business consulting project in an organizational setting.
- Conduct appropriate research, develop conclusions, and formulate recommendations to address the problem or challenge identified in the project terms of reference assignment completed in HRMG 4700.
- Create an in-depth written report covering all aspects of the project.
- Deliver a presentation about the project to the host organization and the faculty advisor.
- Use effective leadership, teamwork and project management skills while working within a self-managed group of students to complete the business consulting project.
- Align HR strategies with business goals and formulate data-driven recommendations for organizational growth and success.
- Evaluate the business consulting project by comparing the terms of reference with agreed-upon outcomes and project results.
- Assess project satisfaction through the subjective value inventory (SVI).
