Course Overview
Provides both the theory and hands-on training required to conduct hearing tests on noise-exposed workers in industry, counsel workers on the results of their hearing tests and advise workers about hearing protection. After successfully completing this four-day classroom course, qualified students are eligible to be authorized by WorksafeBC as an industrial audiometric technician in BC.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- Develop a formal Project Charter including using business analytics methodologies.
- Present initial research findings to peers and Industry stakeholders.
- Communicate analysis results effectively to specify the solution proposed.
- Provide a real-world industry solution using business analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
- Develop and produce a written analysis of an Industry Project.
- Present findings and clearly communicate conclusions to peers and Industry stakeholders.
- Effectively identify a business need, perform appropriate research and analysis, and package the results in industry standard reporting formats.
- Plan, manage, and execute a business analytics project.
