Course details

​This assessment evaluates English competency and writing skills, current events awareness, and motivation/suitability for the program. The passing mark is 60%. This exam is delivered on-line and is a mandatory requirement for application to the program. Upon registration, applicants will receive an automated message with full details and dates specific to writing the exam. Assessment results will be posted within ten business days, on the applicant's student account at my.bcit.ca

  2. This assessment for the Spring 2023 intake is offered ONLINE. Prospective applicants must write this exam before applying to the program, and may only register for and complete the assessment once per annual application. Details on how the assessment will be administered will be emailed to you upon registration. Once registered for BCST 0001, you will be able to select an exam date from a list of choices in the BCIT Learning Hub.
