Course Overview
Introduces the creation of a formal management strategy on how to effectively manage a service outlet. Provides an overview of various areas such as staffing, equipment and faciities, business management, marketing and service operations. Teaches the service manager or owner/operator to have adequate control over the business profitability while maintaining high customer satisfaction and staff participation.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Identify the subject areas related to staffing a service outlet;
- Identify the necessary equipment and tools requirements for a service area;
- Identify an initial design of a service facility;
- Identify the various components of a primary level business plan; and,
- Identify the subject areas to create a primary marketing and service operations program.
