Course Overview
This course introduces you to the artistic and technical platform of audio editing using creative cloud software. The course starts with an overview of the software interface, editing tools, and specific roles of a sound editor. This course provides you with the opportunity to edit, restore, mix, and export audio sequences from both sound and video clips. Sound editing styles and the audio post production work flow will be applied to real-world projects.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Edit audio using audio editing tools
- Apply signal processing effects and techniques to enhance the soundscape
- Learn best practices to remove noise from audio clips by adjusting frequencies
- Export master audio files to prepare for a final project
- Analyze and manipulate sound effects and music for sound design
- Record audio files by setting up controls on the software interface
- Edit and mix audio clips using a multitrack editor
- Adjust and automate layered audio clips using volume and effects functions
- Mix sound to achieve a high quality file with several audio tracks
