Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:

  • Produce a set of construction documents, which can be submitted to any Local Municipality for a Development or Building permit.
  • Plot large format drawings and use layout / paper space to optimize the display of the model.
  • Use blocks and attributes to expedite the drawing process and enhance the monitoring of information within the drawing database.
  • Use various drawing techniques to enhance an architectural design drawing.
  • Construct an isometric drawing and construction detail.
