AVFL 1000 will cover aircraft structural inspection techniques such as scratch identification, damage measurements, defect types and defect measurements.
Prerequisite(s)
- This course is for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering graduates, individuals employed in the aviation field, and aircraft owners who would like to expand on their inspection knowledge and methods.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Explain standards and specifications used to related fasteners
- Explain the application and installation/removal of special fasteners
- Select special purpose fasteners based on application
- Explain sealants and application of sealants
- Identify various types of defects in regard to fasteners and sealants
- Explain electrical bonding
- Explain corrosion control
- Identify various sheet metal tools used for inspection.
