Course Overview

The course covers advanced techniques for modelling/materials/lighting and rendering using mental ray and 3D Studio MAX, as well as post-production concepts using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create high quality professional Architectural presentation media.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Have a better understanding of advanced tools and techniques in 3D Studio MAX for use in architecture.
Understand the relationship between different computer applications in 2D and 3D and how to apply them to professional presentation media.
Explore other graphic applications and use various drawing and presentation techniques that enhance the architectural design process.
