The course covers advanced techniques for modelling/materials/lighting and rendering using mental ray and 3D Studio MAX, as well as post-production concepts using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create high quality professional Architectural presentation media.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Have a better understanding of advanced tools and techniques in 3D Studio MAX for use in architecture.
  • Understand the relationship between different computer applications in 2D and 3D and how to apply them to professional presentation media.
  • Explore other graphic applications and use various drawing and presentation techniques that enhance the architectural design process.
