Course Overview
This workshop is for individuals currently employed as sexual assault examiners, those who are interested in becoming sexual assault examiners as well as individuals such as student nurses, police officers, victim services workers who are in contact with victims/patients post sexual assault.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Define the multi-disciplinary process involved in the care of the sexually assaulted patient/victim.
- List components of the interviewing techniques involved in obtaining a medical and forensic history regarding the presenting incident of stated sexual assault.
- Briefly explain the court process involved in a criminal court proceedings in charges of sexual assault.
