Connecting our people and industry

Our Impact

Message from BCIT

At BCIT, we connect learners, industry, and communities to create impact that extends beyond classrooms, shops, and labs. With our provincial mandate to deliver applied education for workforce development, BCIT is preparing British Columbians for meaningful careers that drive prosperity while building sustainable and resilient communities.

Our partnerships with industry, alumni, researchers, First Nations, and government strengthen innovation and academic excellence, expand diverse pathways to education, and help eliminate systemic barriers for equity-deserving groups. Through the new BCIT Strategic Plan 2025–2030: Future Ready: Student Success for a Complex World, we continue to empower people, shape BC, and inspire global progress. Together, we are shaping a future where everyone can flourish and lead with purpose.
