October 29 from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm PDT
Join us for an important conversation on economic reconciliation in practice. Chief Ian Campbell, Hereditary Chief of the Squamish Nation, will share his perspective on leading the Squamish Nation–Woodfibre LNG Environmental Assessment Agreement, an example of economic reconciliation. Moderated by Jerome Gessaroli, Faculty in the BCIT School of Business + Media, the session will explore how Indigenous communities and industry can build meaningful collaboration and pursue shared economic and environmental goals.
Presented by the Energy Pathways Initiative in partnership with BCIT’s Indigenous Initiatives and Partnerships and the School of Business + Media.
