Course Overview
Builds on the basic concepts of reefer operation and trouble shooting techniques. This is the ideal course for those individuals who have the basics to build their trouble shooting skills to a higher level.
Prerequisite(s)
- CTMX 0101 Transport Refrigeration Basic Maintenance; or equivalent transport refrigeration trade experience. Safety glasses and steel-toed footwear required.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Perform a pre-trip inspection of various reefer units.
- Perform preventative maintenance on various reefer units.
- Describe component purpose and location on various reefer units.
- Perform troubleshooting techniques on various reefer units.
