Course Overview
Teaches participants to inspect, perform and/ or supervise the maintenance of the Bell 206 series helicopter. This is a 100 hour Transport Canada approved type endorsement course for the Bell 206 series helicopter. The course has been tailored to meet the needs of the industry and Aircraft Maintenance Engineers.
Prerequisite(s)
- 1) AME License with photo ID, or 2) SCA or ACA with photo ID and note from DOM confirming employment.

Learning Outcomes
The student will be able to:
- Develop a general knowledge of the airframe, powerplant, special safety precautions, tooling, test equipment and maintenance practices peculiar or unique to the aircraft.
- Recall safety precautions to be observed when working on or near the aircraft and its systems.
- Carry out system, engine, component and functional checks as specified in the maintenance manual.
- Interpret readings and indications provided by BITE and other information systems.
- Correlate information for the purpose of making decisions in respect to fault diagnosis and rectification to maintenance manual level.
- Identify and use family of ATA 100 reference manuals.
- Recall those procedures for replacement of components peculiar to this aircraft type.
