Course Overview
This course covers essential investigation methodologies in Fraud and Financial Crime, with a focus on file coordination. You will learn how to collate open and closed-source information, such as forensic accounting and data-mining query results, that are collected during an investigation. You will review forensic software tools that can be used for file coordination. You will be able to demonstrate the coordination of fraud and financial crime information, from initial incident to resolution.

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Identify potentially relevant open and closed information sources for an investigation.
- Justify the proper file coordination approaches incorporating data from sources including forensic accounting, data mining, transaction flow charts, and other investigative or analytical strategies.
- Create a process map to provide a visual representation of the file coordination process.
