Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Apply WorkSafeBC Regulations to lift and move loads
- Use and maintain lifting and blocking equipment
- Perform pre‐start and walkaround inspections
- Safely operate equipment
- Inspect and service wire rope used on winches
- Apply math and science principles to area, volume, weight/mass, and safe working loads
