Course Overview
This course is where students independently design a multi-purpose project of approximately 20,000 square feet. The capstone project must demonstrate an innovative design approach to address social and environmental issues while positively contributing to the community. Students build upon the relationships developed with industry mentors and advisors in Capstone Proposal by continuing to share ideas, engage in critical thinking, self-evaluate, and increase the ability to expand on critiques/findings. The course allows students to showcase their knowledge, skills, and ability to develop a comprehensive design in response to the research and programming phase of INTD 7500 Capstone Proposal. The capstone project is summarized during a final presentation to peers, faculty, and the interior design industry.
Prerequisite(s)
