Course Overview
This course explores tectonics in architecture; relating form to materials, construction and structure. It is the study of architecture as a spatial concept expressed through the relative order of structure, detail and environmental context. The course investigates and tests the design with a built form, further refining the evolution of detail based on aesthetics, function, durability and current construction practice .
