Course Overview
Begins the process of teaching the business student to appreciate the microcomputer as an aid to management. The course provides an introduction to basic business software which may include one or more of the following: MS Windows; MS Word; MS Excel; MS Access; the Internet; and the World Wide Web.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to:
- Use and customize the Windows operating system environment.
- Organize PC/network/Internet files and disk storage.
- Use e-mail to send/receive mail and use a web browser to find information.
- Use PowerPoint to produce presentations.
- Use Word to produce professional business communications.
- Use Excel to create and manipulate simple financial models and charts.
