Course Overview
This one day "hands-on" workshop will give students the opportunity to develop their Internet search skills beyond basic Google searches using key words. The workshop will introduce students to OSINT, basic searches, and advanced search engine techniques. Students will be introduced to various browsers, search engines, and how to use Google to its full potential. Students will learn general strategies and tactics on how to access the vast amount of information on the Web. Finally, the course covers how extract this information legally.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Understand the basics of Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) and Internet searches.
- Use advanced internet searching tools to conduct online searches for information.
- Use advanced searching techniques using Google.
- Understand how to legally acquire online information through search engines.
- Understand the dangers of personal & professional use of online searching tools.
