Course Overview
An online review course for students who have completed Grade 12 high school mathematics but more than 5 years ago. This course prepares students to write the BCIT Mathematics Competency Test which can be used to meet math entrance requirements for selected BCIT programs.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Use the rules for approximate number calculations.
- Convert and reduce units.
- Operate with signed numbers.
- Manipulate and simplify algebraic expressions.
- Solve simple, quadratic and simultaneous linear equations.
- Solve problems using algebraic variation.
- Apply mensuration formula to solve geometric problems.
- Solve geometric problems using Pythagoras’ Theorem and similar triangles.
- Graph simple algebraic functions.
- Use the fundamental laws of algorithms to solve exponential and logarithmic problems.
- Solve triangles using trigonometry.
- Determine the resultant of two or more vectors.
