Our Board of Directors is a dedicated group of volunteers who encourage and steward the contributions we receive from our donors. The Board is instrumental in helping us promote awareness of BCIT’s economic and social benefits to the community and beyond.
Richard Rudderham
Chair, BCIT Foundation
Former Chief Human Resources Officer, BMO Financial Group
Richard Rudderham was the former Chief Human Resources Officer of BMO Financial Group and member of the bank’s Management Committee. He joined BMO in 1989 and held a variety of roles in Corporate and Institutional Financial Services and the Personal and Commercial Client group, including Senior Vice-President, Institute for Learning.
Richard holds an MBA from Wilfred Laurier University and a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo.
Wayne Berg
Secretary/Treasurer, BCIT Foundation
former Executive Vice President, Commercial Banking, Coast Capital Savings
Wayne Berg worked with Coast Capital Savings for over 12 years in a senior support role assisting national expansion projects, partnerships, and growth ambitions in commercial real estate and corporate space. He also led the Commercial Banking Group with small business ventures, business banking, commercial real estate, equipment financing, and cash management. Wayne brings close to 40 years of commercial, retail banking, and wealth management experience.
Wayne holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from the University of Alberta and is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors program.
Brent Charleton

CEO and President, EnWave Corporation
Brent Charleton, CFA, is the CEO and President of EnWave Corporation. As a leader in the drying technology space, Brent drives and provides his company with strategic direction, overseeing operations and financial management. Brent is also a BIV Top 40 Under Forty Award winner, inductee to the Basketball B.C. Hall of Fame, and BCIT Alumni Association Outstanding Student Leadership Award recipient.
As a BCIT Marketing Management alumnus, he holds a Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Simon Fraser University.
Guy Elliott
Director, BCIT Foundation
Owner, Isuma Strategies Inc.
With operations, engineering, and accounting backgrounds, Guy bridges the gap between the financial and operating worlds of an enterprise. He specializes in financial reporting, improving financial and operational processes, supporting infrastructure and internal controls, and advising on transactions and capital projects.
Guy is a Canadian Chartered Accountant (CA-CPA). He also holds a graduate degree in Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, and has a Metals and Material Engineering degree from the University of British Columbia.
