Kick Start Burnaby Campus Tour - Wed. July 29, 10:30am
July 29 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm PDT

Welcome to BCIT!
Kick Start is BCIT’s centralized orientation for all new students. Once enrolled, Kick Start is here to help you prepare and find your way, then connect and settle into student life at BCIT.
Kick Start Burnaby Campus Tours are led by Student Life Ambassadors, current BCIT students who work for the Student Life Office. Tour content includes:
- An overview of all BCIT student services, supports and resources.
- How to navigate Burnaby campus.
- Food services on Burnaby campus.
- How to claim a locker.
- Transportation options.
- How to learn program orientation and course material details.
- Community opportunities for students.
- Proactive steps to support your educational journey.
- Tips from current BCIT students.
- An opportunity to meet fellow new BCIT students.
It’s important to note, Kick Start events share information and resources appropriate for all BCIT students. This event is not program specific. Program specific questions should be directed to the program itself. All Kick Start events are only for enrolled BCIT students. If you are a perspective student, connect with the appropriate BCIT team here.
Please Review to Ensure Tour Quality for All
Tours leave on time and include the outdoors. We recommend all attendees arrive a minimum of 15 minutes early wearing weather appropriate attire and footwear. We also recommend bringing a water bottle, especially on warmer days.
Do not bring a guest. If support is needed, please arrange for your accommodation with Accessibility Services well ahead of time. Agents, please invite your student to register themselves rather than doing it for them as we’ve seen this leads to a more successful event experience for the student.
How to Register
Registration is required and free. If registration is available, details will show below. When an attendee list is full, the registration box will not appear. Multiple 2026 Kick Start Burnaby Campus Tours are taking place in July, August, September, and December. Visit the Kick Start webpage often for updated opportunities.
If you are registered and can no longer attend, please refer to the confirmation email and follow instructions to cancel your registration as soon as possible. This is very much appreciated!
The tour meeting location will be emailed to registered attendees closer to their tour date.
