Course Overview
Designed for analytical and environmental chemists, analysts, technicians, quality assurance staff, laboratory supervisors and managers. Provides a practical understanding of the Laboratory Quality System and the role it plays in improving data quality and increasing operational efficiency. Topics: quality system requirements for ISO 17025 registration and laboratory accreditation, quality policy and objectives, organizational responsibilities, the quality manual, lab quality control and quality audit.
Prerequisite(s)
- 50% in CHSC 7826
- Basic knowledge of statistical quality control.
