Course Overview
Students will explore comprehensive material on the submerged arc welding process (SAW), which will include an overview of single, twin, and tandem submerged arc welding processes, SAW metallurgy, waveform controlled AC SAW, SAW electrode and flux, SAW defects, SAW welding of stainless and nickel alloys, joint design for SAW, and electroslag cladding.
