Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Explain the legislative requirements for respirators.
  • Describe roles and responsibilities.
  • Conduct hazard identification.
  • Perform respirator selection, use, and APF.
  • Explain the types of respirators and filter ratings.
  • Perform pre-medical screening and medical evaluation.
  • Maintain a respiratory fit test record.
  • Describe cartridge classifications.
  • Perform fit tests.
