Course Overview
Introduces process automation and instrumentation. Pressure and level measurement equipment (including smart transmitters) are discussed and typical industrial applications are reviewed. The basic elements of closed loop feedback control systems will be presented and students will set up on/off and proportional control of an industrial process.
