Course Overview
Introduces the various concepts involved in establishing a preventative maintenance program. Topics include the determination and assessment of equipment failure, Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM), adoption of reliability methods, evaluation of equipment, design of preventative maintenance programs, and Condition Based Maintenance (CBM).

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- Understand methods for determining equipment failure.
- Determine reliability using RCM methodology.
- Evaluate equipment for criticality and work priority.
- Determine a suitable preventive maintenance program.
