This course covers the history of the privatization process of the BC provincial highways system and the development of the current highway maintenance contract. Details of and methods of operating under the current maintenance contract are fully described.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Describe the history of the BC privatisation process of the roads maintenance service.
- Describe the overall philosophy of the Maintenance Agreement.
- Differentiate between Maintenance Services, Additional Maintenance Services and Emergency Services.
- Describe and use the various Sections and Schedules of the current Maintenance Services Agreement.
