Course Overview
Provides the basic background and knowledge required to correctly perform nondestructive test and interpret the results. Topics include material properties; solidification of metals, casting, forging and welding procedures and their associated defects. Course requires that students can use a calculator, manipulate formulae, apply basic trigonometry (sine, cosine, tan, arcsine, arccosine, arc tan) and use exponential functions.
