Course Overview
This hands-on course provides learners with practical experience manufacturing prefabricated, high-performance wall panels in a small-scale, human-centred construction factory. Working from industry-standard drawings and fabrication instructions, participants will use professional tools, materials, and production processes to build real-life wall panels. Through team-based fabrication activities, learners will develop skills in precision manufacturing, quality control, safe work practices, and production workflows.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Interpret fabrication drawings, work instructions, and production documentation.
- Safely operate hand and power tools used in panelized fabrication.
- Perform material preparation, layout, cutting, assembly, and fastening tasks according to production requirements.
- Apply quality control procedures to verify dimensions, tolerances, and workmanship throughout the fabrication process.
- Identify fabrication errors or deficiencies and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Demonstrate safe material handling and ergonomic work practices in a factory environment.
- Follow production sequences and collaborate effectively within a fabrication team.
- Demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and professionalism required to contribute safely and productively to the fabrication of high-performance building components.
