Course Overview
The trend in the HVAC industry is for more energy efficient systems in commercial and residential applications. Heat Pump systems are an important component of this trend. Students will learn the operation of Heat Pump systems, how to maintain and troubleshoot system components and gain hands-on experience installing a Heat Pump system.

- Describe Heat Pump operation of mechanical and electrical components
- Maintain electrical and mechanical components
- Troubleshoot both electrical and mechanical components
- Install residential Heat Pump Systems
