Course Overview
Designed to prepare mechanics to install and service LPG conversions. Provides the necessary theoretical instruction to write the Provincial Gas Safety Branch Licensing Examination. Topics include: safety, basic test equipment, characteristics of LPG, engine and ignition requirements, LPG components, installation, refuelling, tune-ups and troubleshooting.
Prerequisite(s)
- B.C. TQ in Automotive, Commercial Transport, or Heavy Duty Mechanics or Minimum 3rd year apprentice.
