Course Overview
This course Covers the Canadian Electrical Code requirements for the installation, alteration, repair or maintenance of Class 2 circuits limited to rated output of 100-volt amperes. This includes installation of 120 volt branch circuit wiring for the Class 2 power supplies. This course is an eligibility requirement and prepares students to write the Class Low Energy Systems (LO) certification exam from the Technical Safety BC (www.technicalsafetybc.ca).

- Experience with Class 2 circuits.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Know and find needed Sections, Rules and Tables in the code and other regulations so that students may write the Class Low Energy Systems (LO) certification exam. Exam eligibility requirement can be found at the BC Safety Authority website: https://safetyauthority.ca/licences-certificates/exams-certificates/electrical
A statement of completion certificate will be issued to students who successfully complete the course.
