At the end of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Demonstrate aircraft chocking.
- Describe wheel types.
- Describe wheel maintenance.
- Describe repair of tires and tubes.
- Perform tire servicing and inflation.
- Perform install and balance of wheel.
- Explain aircraft braking systems.
- Perform brake shoe replacement and testing.
- Explain anti-skid brakes.
- Describe maintenance.
- Describe purpose and types of landing gear.
- Perform disassembly, servicing and reassembly of an oleo.
- Describe the operation retractable landing gear.
- Describe aircraft floats.
- Describe repair of floats and skis.
