This course introduces Green Building Construction concepts and practices. Topics include green building definition, guidelines, regulations and standards. Evaluation of cost/benefit of green construction methods and green construction rating systems. Relevant case studies will be reviewed. Two site visits will be included.

No class on STAT holiday Oct 10th classes will be Synchronised (must be logged on date and times published ) There are 2 site visits during this course, hard hats and steel toed boots are required. Please view web page for full details - transportation is students responsibility and insurance is not provided. Schedule may be adjusted to accommodate site visit.
