Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Understand the basic principles of heat transfer and thermodynamics relevant to heat pump operation.
- Identify different types of heat pumps and their respective applications.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the components and parts required for a heat pump system installation.
- Perform proper refrigerant handling and charging procedures in compliance with environmental regulations.
- Evaluate site conditions and factors affecting heat pump performance, such as insulation and airflow.
