Course Overview

This course provides a comprehensive overview of graphic design within the context of digital advertising. Emphasis is placed on creating visually compelling designs and developing effective strategies for promoting products and services across various media channels. Students will explore fundamental design principles, strategic thinking, and the integration of design elements into diverse advertising formats. The course fosters skills in both creative and strategic aspects of advertising, preparing students to adapt to evolving digital landscapes.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

Develop persuasive and engaging copy that resonates with target audiences through strategic storytelling and clear messaging.
Apply digital tools and platforms to create, manage, and assess the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, focusing on principles rather than specific technologies.
Use analytical insights to refine and improve campaign performance, making informed decisions based on data-driven evaluation.
Apply UX and UI principles to create visually appealing and user-friendly designs that drive engagement and conversions
Work collaboratively to develop comprehensive advertising strategies and designs that align with client or organizational objectives.
Recognize and address ethical considerations in advertising, including issues related to privacy, representation, and responsible messaging.
Create advertising materials that maintain brand consistency and effectively communicate the brand's identity and values across different media.
