Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, the student will be able to:
- Calculate the water saturation in oil & gas reservoirs using openhole logs.
- Evaluate reservoir permeability and wellbore damage using DST and welltest.
- Calculate the initial oil and gas in place volumes in a reservoir.
- Calculate the initial reservoir pressure, formation damage, and permeability of a reservoir.
- Explain why oil and gas is suspected in a formation from various data collected.
