Students will configure routers with OSPF to allow communication of routes between Networks and allow Wide Area Network communication. Students will build packet filtering firewalls using Access Control Lists (ACLs) to limit traffic between the Local Area Networks to only those devices and protocols that are defined by organizational policy. Network Address Translation will also be presented as a method used to mitigate IPv4 Address depletion by using private IPv4 addresses to conserve public IPv4 addresses.
